I see other visitors to your site remember the Optimum bars and want them back. They were awesome; pls bring them back!

Hi Patricia and thanks for

Hi Patricia and thanks for sharing your thoughts! As you know the Optimum Rebound bars were discontinued. I’ll pass along your request to bring them back because you never know— crazier things have happened! In the meantime, I’d suggest trying our yummy granola bars. Take care, Justine, Nature’s Path Team

I really enjoy  your product

I really enjoy  your product but am wheat sensitive and would like to know if your product contains any wheat? If it does, or has come in contact somehow with wheat (field or facility), I think you should put on your packaging that it MAY contain wheat. I read through the ingredients and didn’t see wheat mentioned as an ingredient and assumed it was ok. That one extra line would help ALOT of people, as that’s what we’re looking for on the label when we’re uncertain. Thank you!

Hi Kimberley and thanks for

Hi Kimberley and thanks for reaching out to us. We’re sorry our labelling hasn’t been clear for you. We do list possible allergen risks regarding nuts and dairy, however I’ll pass along your suggestion to also add gluten to that list. To clear up some things, our granola bars aren’t suitable for a gluten-free diet as they contain oats that might have undergone cross contamination with gluten (in the fields or during the milling process). As a rule of thumb, you should always ALWAYS look for the Gluten-Free Certification from the Gluten Free Certification Organication (GFCO) which is a program of the Gluten Intolerance Group. This is the highest quality of GF certification available today and you’ll find it on all of our GF products. If something doesn’t have this certification, you can’t be sure that it’ll work for you. Keep in mind, just because something doesn’t have wheat listed as an ingredient, such as these granola bars, doesn’t make it GF. We’d love to offer GF granola bars in the future, however at this time there isn’t enough gluten free organic oats for our supply needs. Take care, Justine, Nature’s Path Team

Hi Michael and thanks for

Hi Michael and thanks for taking the time to ask us your question. We use non GMO organic soybean oil which is cold pressed and our GMO organic palm oil is mechanical pressed. Solvents, de-foamers, additives and sythetic agents are not used refine these organic oils. As well, neither oil is categorized as virgin. I hope that answers your question! Take care, Justine, Nature’s Path Team.

I love your Berry Strawberry

I love your Berry Strawberry granola bars! I eat them any time of the day to curb any sweet cravings because as you said in earlier posts, a lot of the "Sweet taste" comes from organic sugars or fruit juice, agave...ect. Thank you for such a yummy granola bar & being an awesome company.

The allergy statement on your

The allergy statement on your pumpkin spice and your chocolate coconut granola bars state, “produced in a facility with peanuts and treenuts.” Could you clarify what exactly that means for a person with tree nut and peanut allergy? Are the granola bars on a clean and separate production line or are they made on the same equipment as the peanut butter bars? I am looking for a safe and healthy granola bar for my daughter. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for taking the time to

Thanks for taking the time to get in touch with us. What this statement means is that these products are made on the same line as products that contain peanuts and tree nuts. Due to the slight chance that these products could contain allergens, regardless of our extensive cleaning procedures, we include this disclaimer. No matter how small the chance, we feel it’s our obligation to inform you of the possibility of cross contamination. Our main concern is the health risk to any of our customers who have a life-threatening allergy. For a complete list of our products that are not make in a facility with peanuts or tree nuts, please mail Nicolette at cereal@naturespath.com. Take care, Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

I really miss Nature’s Path

I really miss Nature’s Path origonal apple cinnamon breakfast bar. It had great texture and sat well in my tummy. Why would the stop making such a wonderful product? I have a delicate digestive system and that was the only fruit in the middle cereal bar I could eat! I am so dissapointed that I cannot find it anymore :(

Thanks for your feedback!

I love these bars but was

I love these bars but was recently diagnosed with Celiac’s disease. Is it the natural flavors that have the gluten in these bars? I noticed that they weren’t listed on your gluten-free page. Thanks!

Hi there, thanks for getting

Hi there, thanks for getting in touch! While our granola bars do not contain wheat, they are not certified gluten free because they contain oats. For list of our gluten free products check out http://www.naturespath.com/eat-well/gluten-free-celiac-diet. Best, Kyla, Brand Ambassador, Gorilla Munch Addict

The information on your

The information on your website about oats in North America not being gluten free is wrong. There are many companies that offer gluten free oats. This is where I saw the information on your website: http://www.naturespath.com/eat-well/gluten-free-celiac-diet under heading that reads “What is a gluten free diet?” This information is very misleading to consumers and should be fixed. You don’t need to label a product as gluten free that contains oats but don’t mislead to consumers to think that they cannot eat any oats at all. If you are using oats that are not certified as gluten free they could potentially contain wheat. All of your packages of granola bars indicate that they do not contain wheat which is also misleading to consumers. Thanks for your time, Jenny

Thanks for reaching out to us

Thanks for reaching out to us Jenny! Our consumer feedback is important to us, so we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We have passed along this information to our marketing team who will be sure to look into it further. Thanks again and take care, Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

Why can’t your bars be made

Why can’t your bars be made with gluten free oats? They would appeal to more consumers, especially those with celiac disease.

Thanks for taking the time to

Thanks for taking the time to get in touch with us. In North America most oats are not gluten free due to cross contamination of a gluten containing grain in the field or during the milling process. It’s also very hard to purchase gluten free oats in the quantity we need to make our products. We’re definitly working it though! Nature’s Path purchased 2,240 acres of organic farmland in 2009. We’re moving in a direction that could possibly get us to gluten free oats in the quantities we need in future. Take care, Jamie, Natue’s Path Team

I am really disappointed that

I am really disappointed that the Weil pure fruit and nut bars that were out in 2007-2008 are not available anymore.  Did the partnership between Nature’s Path and Dr. Weil not work or something?  Please bring these back as they were.  They were excellent food!

Hi Ellen and thanks for

Hi Ellen and thanks for following up with us on this question. Products inevitably face the cycle of growth, maturity, and decline. That being said, unfortunately these bars were discontinued as they didn’t meet sales expectations. I’ve passed your comments to the product managers. Take care, Justine, Nature’s Path Team

WAY TOO MUCH SUGAR!!!!!!

WAY TOO MUCH SUGAR!!!!!!  This world needs healthy snacks with SENSIBLE SUGAR CONTENT!  Especially, products that many kids would be eating. Its heartbreaking to see such a great, amazing, socially conscious company pumping their products so full of unhealthy (and addictive!) sugars.

I agree!!!

I agree!!!

Thank you for becoming part

Thank you for becoming part of the conversation Vickie. At Nature’s Path we have over 128 different products at differing sugar levels and suggest each family choose the best products for their family. Sugars, in moderation, are a part of a healthy diet and we do use organic sugars like honey, pear juice, grape juice, pomegranate juice, evaporated cane juice, and agave. Since we are organic our products don’t contain any artificial preservatives, additives, or genetically modified organisms and the ingredients are not grown with toxic pesticides, chemical fertilizers or fumigants. All the best Vickie, Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

I AGREE! Way, way much sugar, so I cannot eat this! :(

Your products sound really

Your products sound really good…. but there’s too much sugar. I don’t eat anything with more than 4 grams of sugar.

Hi Marie and thanks for

Hi Marie and thanks for sharing your feedback. Sugars, in moderation are a part of healthful eating. The body and brain need sugars for energy however its best to get it within foods that are packed with nutrients and suit your personal taste preferences. Still, we understand that many people are searching for low sugar options and we’re busy working to make new products that fit this criteria. Because we take your comments very seriously, I have told the brand manager about your concerns. If you are looking for foods with less than 5 grams of sugar per serving, you could always try our: Rice Puffs, Kamut Puffs, Corn Puffs, Millet Puffs, Millet Rice Flakes, Heritage Flakes, Crispy Rice Cereal, and Fruit Juice Sweetened Corn Flakes. All the best, Justine, Nature’s Path Team.
