My question is, if I eat this, then take a drug test, will I pass?

Hi there and thanks for

Hi there and thanks for taking the time to ask us this. We get this question a lot, but rest assured our hemp products won’t make you fail a drug test. Allow me to explain… Hulled hemp seed is not to be confused with marijuana. Hemp & marijuana come from 2 different types of plants. We have had our hemp products tested by two independent labs to determine the level of THC in the food. Both labs are able to test down to one part per million and report finding no detectable THC. So to be absolutely clear, eating hulled hemp seeds does not lead to intoxication or a positive drug test. True, all hemp plants have delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) but the residual level in hulled hempseeds used for food is extremely miniscule — usually measured in 1 or 2 parts per million. Depending on your location, viable hemp seeds may or may not be legal.  In the United States, for instance, hemp seeds are required to be sterilized [Title 21 (Food and Drugs) of the U.S. Code, Chapter 13 (Drug Abuse Prevention and Control), Section 802 (16)]. Personally, I can’t believe this question was asked. Its amazing how much our Government has brain washed people into thinking Marijuana or hemp seeds are bad for you. Hi Ally & Luke’s Mom! Thanks

Hi Ally & Luke’s Mom! Thanks for reaching out to us. You’ve asked some really great questions. First of all, kids can totally eat this cereal. Rest assured, this granola includes hulled hemp seed which is not psychoactive and is not to be confused with marijuana. In fact, hemp & marijuana come from 2 different types of plants. Just to be certain, we have had our hemp products tested by two independent labs and we are confident in saying our foods will NOT cause involuntary intoxication. As for your second question, there are tons of nutritional benefits to hemp: it is very nutritious with up to 35% protein & all 9 essential amino acids. They are high in unsaturated fats – the good fats – including the omega-3 fatty acids. They also contain a wide variety of vitamins & minerals. Hope that answers your questions.
