I love your hemp bars. I have

I love your hemp bars. I have no complaints or suggestions, other than NO GMO’s! The person saying it matters not… it does to me. The bars would no longer be Organic if they were, and for sure I would not buy them if they were. I thank your company for making such a tasty product.

Hi there, i’m thrilled to

Hi there, i’m thrilled to hear you love our Sunny Hemp granola bars! You’re right, we always say no to GMOs and hope that everyone can learn more about them in order to make the right decision for themselves. Please follow the link to find out more about GMOs and their effects on food. http://www.naturespath.com/node/6515 Take care, Itziar, Nature’s Path Team

I noticed that someone

I noticed that someone mentioned that these used to be made with Canola oil. I do prefer Canola oil over soy. The fact that they are currently made from soy oil will not deter me from eating them, since I don’t eat a lot of soy and don’t have much soy oil in my diet. However I would like to see this product being made with Canola oil instead, GMO or not. I understand biology and I have no problem with GMO in this instance. Could you consider changing it back?

Hi Andrea - Thank you so much

Hi Andrea - Thank you so much for your feedback. You are not alone in your thinking & we are definitely listening. We included soy as an ingredient in some of our products because it is a plant-based ingredient that is neutral tasting. However, based on the feedback that we are receiving from consumers, like yourself, who are concerned about the use of soy in our products, our R&D team is now exploring alternatives. ~Jessica

These granola bars are the

These granola bars are the first of your products that I have tried, and I really enjoyed them! I live in WI, not far from Sussex, and was curious if all of the ingredients are grown there, or if some are grown your other three locations and shipped here? Thanks!

Hi Kaitlyn and thanks for

Hi Kaitlyn and thanks for reaching out to us! The ingredients we use in these bars are all sourced from across North America, with the exception being the evaporated cane juice from South America. For example, the hulled hemp seeds only come from Canada as it currently can’t be legally grown in the United States, whereas the oats, brown rice flour, and raisins are sourced from across the United States and Canada and then transported to our various manufacturing facilities such as the one you mentioned in Sussx. Take care, Justine, Nature’s Path Team

I saw your answers about the

I saw your answers about the hemp seeds you use in these bars having no THC and therefor no intoxicating effects. I am a professional driver. Could I test positive for marijuana if I eat these bars?

Hi Cherise and thanks for

Hi Cherise and thanks for reaching out to us. This is a great question that I’m sure lots of people are wondering. Rest assured, eating our foods with hemp will not result in a positive drug test. We have our hemp products tested by two independent labs to determine the level of THC in the food. Both labs are able to test down to one part per million and report finding no detectable THC. Based on this scientific testing, we are confident to say that our foods will NOT cause involuntary intoxication or a positive drug test—so munch away! All the best, Justine, Nature’s Path Team

I have loved every product

I have loved every product I’ve tried from your brand, so when I saw these granola bars at my local market, I snatched them up. I love the chewy texture and yummy flavors and especially love the nutritional value of these bars, except the sugar. I’m usually a sugar lover, but to me these are excessively sweet with 11 grams of sugar per bar., and not something I’d feel comfortable feeding my kids. I see from other comments posted, I’m not alone in this opinion, it’s almost the perfect bar, but is there any way to tone down the sugar? Pretty please? =)

I also tried the Sunny Hemp

I also tried the Sunny Hemp and the Pumpkin granola bars thinking they looked very appealing, with great natural ingredients (tho I wondered about all the sweeteners). I found both products too be WAY TOO SWEET and I can barely eat them. I can take one bite and then put it away for some other time. I would not purchase these again without drastic changes in the recipe!

is this product gluten-free.

is this product gluten-free.

Thanks so much for taking the

Thanks so much for taking the time to get in touch with us. Our granola bars are not gluten free because they contain oats. There is a possibility of the oats being cross contaminated with a gluten containing grain in the field or during the milling process. Therefore, most North American oats are not acceptable in a gluten free diet and organic gluten free oats are not available in the quantities we need. We have 28 different gluten free producuts which you can find here: http://www.naturespath.com/eat-well/gluten-free-celiac-diet. I suggest trying one of our crispy rice bars. Hi there and thanks for

Hi there and thanks for sharing your concerns. De-hulled hempseed which we use in this product is not to be confused with marijuana. Hemp & marihuana come from 2 different types of plants. Ingesting foods with hulled hempseeds does not lead to intoxication. There are great benefits to hemp seed: it is very nutritious with up to 35% protein & all 9 amino acids, they are high in unsaturated fats – the good fats – including the omega-3 fatty acids, and they also contain a wide variety of vitamins & minerals. Please check out this page on our website about hemp which will clarify some of your concerns: http://www.naturespath.com/eat-well/hemp-debate. All the best, Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

Anyone else notice an almost

Anyone else notice an almost burning sensation when eating these? I don’t know if I have an allergy to one of the ingredients in the product but I was unable to even finish one bar it bothered my throat so badly and normally I never have an issue.

Thanks so much for letting us

Thanks so much for letting us know Janet. On behalf of Nature’s Path, I extend our sincere apologies for this. From your description, it seems like there may be a chance that you are allergic to one of the ingredients in this bar, so we recommend that you take a list of the ingredients to your medical practitioner for allergy testing. Also, please contact Nicolette in Consumer Services at consumerservices@naturespath.com with the product name, expiry date and product code so that she can investigate further. Sincerely, Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

I was extremely disappointed

I was extremely disappointed to realize that your granola bars now contain soy oil. I choose not to eat soy, and I’m certain that when I started buying these bars I checked to make sure there was no soy. I’ve been going through about a pack a week for more than a year now, and it never occurred to me to check the ingredients list again. I’m very sad to say that now that I have noticed the change, I will no longer be buying these. (Oh, and I kind of agree with Andrew; they really don’t taste as good anymore. I’d originally assumed it was my own problem, since my taste buds are rather fickle and have been known to dramatically change their opinion overnight, but my family agreed that the taste has definitely changed.)

Hi there, thank you for

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to get in touch. As a company committed to keeping GMOs out of food, we switched from canola oil to soy oil in 2005. We appreciate your feedback on the taste and will pass on your comments to our Brand team for consideration. Kind regards, Kyla from Nature’s Path
